This day was a wonderful blend of gothic elegance and wild romance, and I couldn’t be more obsessed with how these two made every detail so unapologetically them.

Getting Ready at the Infamous Stanley Hotel

If you know, you know—The Stanley Hotel is legendary for its haunted history and a popular Estes Park destination for weddings and elopements. For this couple and their love for all things horror, Halloween, and punk, it was an easy YES when they were looking for lodging ideas.

When I tell you these two put so much thought and intention into their wedding day, I’m not exaggerating. From a thrifted black floral wedding gown to a DIYed jack-o’-lantern wedding bouquet with florals made from folded pages of The Shining by Stephen King—super on theme with the Stanley Hotel!

Mountaintop Wedding Ceremony

Because why stop at an iconic haunted hotel when you can also say your vows on a mountaintop? We laced up our boots, packed up the jack-o’-lantern bouquet, and hit the trail. As the sun dipped lower, casting golden light across the peaks, these two stood together and read their wedding vows.

The best part? They never lost sight of what this day was about—them. Their love, their story, their adventure.
