Lily Lake Vow Renewal Ceremony in Rocky Mountain National Park
These two came back to Colorado for their 10 year anniversary and turned the family trip into a vow renewal in Estes Park!
They came back to the spot where it all began, exchanging vows once again at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. They even had their same officiant, Andrew Nave, come and lead the ceremony!
But this time, their kids were by their side.
And honestly… how special is that?
Having your children witness you reaffirm your love to one another is such a beautiful reminder that your wedding day is just the beginning of the story.
I’m still not over how sweet this entire experience was.
Post Vow Renewal Celebrations at Ed’s Cantina
Ed’s Cantina is a local Tex-Mex inspired restaurant in downtown Estes Park. They offer wedding and event catering, and even have a private upstairs space for welcome parties, receptions, and celebrations!
And well, it’s also a special place for this family to visit when they come to town, so it was only fitting that we swing by after their vow renewal ceremony.
They ordered sizzling fajitas, and while we waited for food, we wandered to their go-to table and captured some photos.
This is what I seriously love about vow renewals, elopements, and small weddings. They can look however you want them to!! Don’t be afraid to get creative or even take some time to thoughtfully think to yourselves: what would make this day so fun and memorable for us?
Because that’s what really matters. This is is a celebration of YOU.
