This is the story of Jen & Bryon’s Breckenridge ski elopement. It’s a day I won’t ever forget. Not only was it fun as heck witnessing 2 young girls skin up a mountain and ski back down with their parents, but it was the way everyone came together to make the day so full of love, play, and fun.
The day as a whole was so well balanced too. There was time for Jen & Bryon to explore the mountains with snowshoes, just the two of them in the morning. In the afternoon we gathered with their immediate family at Sapphire Point Overlook for a wedding ceremony, and then went off and played with the kids. The day wrapped up where it all began at a stunning Airbnb where a private chef was to prepare a meal for them.
The elopement day was intentional, and thoughtful. Plus, does it get any better than a fresh snow bluebird day in Colorado? I don’t think so.
I left this elopement day feeling so touched by every person I met along the way. This family truly embodied what I could only dream of for myself one day.
Let’s head back to the luxurious Airbnb in Breckenridge for a little while. Time to visit the wine cellar, eat cupcakes, and soak in the satisfaction of an adventurous elopement day.
Couldn’t do it without the best in the business.
Venue: Sapphire Point Overlook (reservations open 6 months in advance)

Breckenridge, Colorado is one of the best elopement and wedding destinations! It’s only about a 2 hour drive from Denver International Airport, and there are loads of great wedding and elopement vendors to choose from. Breckenridge is a popular ski destination, but it also offers year-round outdoor activities! For the indoor loving people, the town is filled with great shops and restaurants too. I’d love to help you find the perfect place near Breckenridge to say your vows.
