Welcome to the ultimate Arches National Park wedding guide! Here you’ll find everything you need to plan your micro wedding or elopement in this truly iconic (and out-of-this-world) landscape.
Arches National Park, as well as the greater Moab area, is one of the most awe-inspiring places I’ve ever laid eyes on. Vast, dramatic landscapes stretch endlessly, painted in warm, earthy tones with towering blue mountain peaks in the distance. It feels like stepping onto another planet.
And maybe the best part? This place is built for adventure. From hiking and Jeeping to BASE jumping, Moab is an outdoor lover’s paradise.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s anything but ordinary, where your day feels as epic as the landscape around you, then you’re in the right place.

Otherworldly Scenery
This is a given! A huge draw for folks to visit Arches National Park is the utter beauty that you really have to see to believe. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel small… in the best way. It’s vast, unique, and frankly, a work of art!
Adventurous Experiences
Adventure is more than just out there, it’s in every direction. Everything from rafting, hiking, climbing, and exploring by scenic aerial flights too!
Perfect for Small Weddings & Elopements
Wedding ceremony sites in Arches National Park can accommodation between 0-80 guests.
Epic Photography Opportunities
As I mentioned, Arches National Park is one of the most inspiring places I’ve ever photographed, and with scenery like this, you’re bound to get incredible photos.

Like many national parks, Arches has designated ceremony sites, especially when guests are involved. Here’s a breakdown of the best ceremony locations as well as their group size limits.
Double Arch is a designated wedding ceremony site in Arches National Park with views of a dramatic, you guessed it… double arch! Follow the dirt trail up to the arches and you’ll see a small clearing on the right side that offers perfect views of the arches. This trail is very popular, so I highly recommend a weekend, sunrise or off-season wedding ceremony here! Or a photographer that’s really good at making sure people aren’t in your photos, like me. 🙂
This site can accommodate a group of up to 25 people.

Just inside the entrance to Arches National Park, you’ll find this beautiful pull-off with sweeping views of red rock formations as well as the La Sal Mountains in the distance.
This site can accommodate groups up to 50 guests.

Located just down the road from La Sal Mountains Viewpoint, Park Avenue offers a totally different kind of view. Instead of a distant overlook, you’re standing above a dramatic canyon-like valley lined with towering red rock walls. It feels like you’ve stepped into nature’s version of a cathedral.
Park Avenue wedding ceremony site can accommodate groups of up to 15 people.

Within the same parking area as Double Arch, you can get to The Windows which include North Window, South Window, and Turret Arch. This is a great area for a wedding ceremony and wedding photos because you get so many arches without traveling far!
The Windows wedding ceremony site can accommodate up to 25 people.

A wedding permit is required to get married in Arches National Park. You can apply for the wedding permit up to a year in advance, and a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your desired wedding date. The permit costs $185.
